    Hands down, best tacos I had while in Puerto Vallarta.

    This tiny, cash only taco stand is -- like every single stand in PV -- located on an unimposing street corner. While it seems to keep busy, it is not hard to get a seat on either side of the stand. Once seated, you are greeted by the duo running the spot. Both are fairly chill and don't make too much conversation, so I didn't get the history on this particular taco spot.

    The offerings are typical of the region: shrimp, fish, marlin, chile relleno, machaca and other types of tacos. They also serve quesadillas and tortas. Expect to spend about $3-7 for a belly filling meal.

    The shrimps are plump and perfectly cooked. The fish is lightly battered and gently cooked. So, you get the full flavor of the shrimp and fish. The tortillas are also light and fresh.

    You are offered the standard fixins for your tacos -- in addition to what became my favorite sauce, one made from dried mulato peppers. Excellent flavor, spice and heat. It is not always served in PV restaurants, but you can find it from time to time.

    Good eating. Went on back to back days and hope I will have a chance to visit again.
